Gas Trading

As the subsidiary of PT Pertamina (Persero), PT Pertamina Gas always tries their best to increase the gas supply to the consumers. The issuance of Trading Business Permit for PT Pertamina Gas by the Oil and Gas Directorate and the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources in October 2008 was considered as one of the driving forces of the Company’s trading business. The permit made the company’s business to be feasibly growing.

By this provision, PT Pertamina Gas strives to constantly maintain a safe gas supply for the consumers who are bound by commitments and also for market expansion. Several PJBGs are continuously carried out with contractors, namely Production Sharing Contracts (PSC), Joint Operating Bodies (JOB) and Technical Assistance Contracts (TAC).

At present, PT Pertamina Gas binds with PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja and PT Bayu Buana Gemilang for 25 BBTUD gas sales and purchase agreement, and in 2012 this number will increase into 127 BBTUD.
